Complications

Add ShopSync to your watch face:

  • Short text: Number of unchecked items
  • Long text: Next item on list
  • Icon: Quick launch to app
  • Ranged value: Shopping progress

Installation

  1. Install ShopSync on your Android phone
  2. Open Play Store on your watch
  3. Search for ShopSync
  4. Tap Install
  5. Sign in with same account

Using the Watch App

  • Swipe left/right: Switch between lists
  • Swipe up: Scroll through items
  • Tap item: Complete/uncomplete item
  • Long press: See item details (read-only)
  • Press crown: Return to home

Editing Restrictions

You cannot create, edit, or delete items from the watch. All editing must be done on your phone or web app.

Syncing

The watch app syncs automatically:

  • Every 30 seconds when app is open
  • On app launch
  • When you complete/uncomplete an item
  • When phone app makes changes

Battery Impact

WearOS app is optimized for battery life. Syncing only occurs when needed.

Offline Mode

The watch app stores your lists locally:

  • View lists without phone connection
  • Complete/uncomplete items offline
  • Changes sync when connection restored
  • Cache cleared after 7 days

Offline Limitations

Only completion status can be changed offline. Creating or editing items requires connection to your phone or web app.

Customization

Watch Face Integration

Add complications to your watch face:

  1. Long-press your watch face
  2. Tap Customize
  3. Select complication slot
  4. Choose ShopSync
  5. Select complication type

Tile Support

Quick access via tiles:

  1. Swipe left from watch face
  2. Tap Add tile
  3. Select ShopSync
  4. Configure display options

Troubleshooting

App Not Syncing

  1. Ensure phone and watch are connected
  2. Open ShopSync on phone
  3. Go to Settings → WearOS
  4. Tap Force Sync

Can't See Lists

  • Check that lists aren't archived
  • Verify you're signed in
  • Ensure phone app is updated
  • Try reinstalling watch app

Voice Commands Not Working

  1. Enable voice permissions for ShopSync
  2. Check Google Assistant is working
  3. Use clear, simple commands
  4. Ensure phone is nearby
